Kelly Murphy
Chief Human Resources Officer
Kelly Murphy manages all Human Resources functions for Swope Health and engages in the work of cultivating a culture that energizes associates around the Swope Health mission, attracts and retains top talent, builds a learning organization, and fosters continuous development.
Prior to joining Swope Health, Murphy worked for regional electric utility company Evergy, where she led all aspects of HR, including total rewards (compensation, benefits and wellbeing), employee and labor relations (including diversity, equity and inclusion), organizational development, and the implementation of technologies and innovation related to HR programs and services.
Murphy holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Bucknell University.
Murphy is also active in the Kansas City community, where she currently serves as the Board Chair of the Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey.
