Mobile Medical Unit Care
Every week, Swope Health’s Mobile Medical Unit Team enhances access to comprehensive, quality healthcare by taking it directly to members of the community who might not otherwise be served.
With a focus on caring for the unhoused, our Mobile Medical Unit teams visits Kansas City-area homeless shelters and other organizations every week. The Mobile Medical Unit has two exam rooms and functions just like a clinic.
The team also participates in community events, such as Project Homeless Connect, Operation Backpack, and school events, providing services to all members of the community.
