Josette Mitchell

 Executive Vice President of Behavioral Health

Josette Mitchell serves as Executive Vice President of Behavioral Health.

 

Josette joined Swope Health in 2002. She worked in various capacities within the Behavioral Health department, serving as the Deputy Director of Behavioral Health before taking the role as Chief Operations Officer in 2021. Upon her return to Behavioral Health as Executive Vice President in 2024, Josette leads all functions, including outreach, community support, substance use treatment, and residential services.

 

Josette received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northwest Missouri State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, having earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Kansas. Additionally, Josette earned a Master of Business Administration from Avila University in December 2024.
